The health managers possess vast field experience on what it takes to make financing incentives work for health workers work. These may include but are not limited to approaches to verifying performance, efficient dispatching of payments, strategies of mitigating fraud, and addressing gender inequities. However, the lessons learned have not been shared, collated, or synthesized to inform the health worker’s rollout and scale-up of digital payments. In this forum, we will host a series of discussions on how digital payments can be implemented and dissect the operational snags that need to be ironed out for them to be effective. Lessons from health managers across the participating countries will be collated and synthesized for cross-country learning.
