Dr. Mugisa Julius, a preeminent scholar and Lecturer in Gender Studies at Makerere University, possesses an exemplary academic record, distinguished by PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's degrees in Gender Studies. His expertise encompasses a vast array of disciplines, including Feminist Theory, Gender-Focused Research, and Consultancy projects intersecting with Environmental Sustainability, specifically Gender and Forest Conservation, Climate Change, Gender-Based Violence, Social Norms and Gender Mainstreaming. 

As a prolific scholar, Julius has authored publications, delivered presentations at esteemed conferences, and collaborated with NGOs to promote gender equality, cultivating an inclusive academic environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. Through his work, he seeks to create a transformative impact on society, advancing the frontiers of knowledge and social justice. 

Personally, Julius is a devoted family man, married to a woman, with six children, and is deeply committed to creating positive change in his community, exemplifying a profound sense of social responsibility and civic engagement.
