The “Digital Health Payment Initiative and Research in Africa (DHPI-R)” project, initiated by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and implemented by Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) in Uganda and the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar in Senegal (UCAD), will host a webinar to share the preliminary results of the environmental scan on digital payments of health workers in sub-Saharan Africa conducted in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon and in the DRC.

This webinar will be an opportunity to:

  1. Discuss the technologies needed for a successful transition to digital payment for health workers.
  2. Discuss the actors and their roles in digitizing healthcare worker payments.
